In an authentic hadeeth narrated in Shu-^a–bul-`ee-man by`Al-­Bayhaqiyy, the Messenger of `Allaah ﷺ said:    

طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيْضَةٌ عَلَى كُـلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

This means: Seeking the religious knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim (whether male or female).

`Allaah facilitates for
them a path to Paradise

`Al-Bukhaariyy, Muslim and `Ibn Hibbaan narrated in their Saheeh that the Prophet ﷺ said:

مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيْقًا يَطْلُبُ فِيْهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيْقًا إِلَى الْـجَنَّةِ

This means: Whoever takes the path to seek religious knowledge, `Allaah facilitates for them a path to Paradise.

The Prophet ﷺ did not say that if a person has a lot of money, a nice car or a big house that `Allaah will make the path to Paradise easier for them. Rather he ﷺ said that `Allaah makes the path to Paradise easier for the one who learns the religious knowledge.
